I'm moving to Englewood, NJ soon, and we're expecting our first child in October. I'm trying to find a good daycare in the area that'll take babies starting at 2 or 3 months, as I have to go back to work soon after the baby is born. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for good day cares?

Where do you live in Englewood? I live on the East side, closer to Fort Lee and send my baby to a day care in Fort Lee. The only day care that I visited and liked in Englewood was the Montessori Day Care and Preschool on Engle Street. It all depends on your personal preferences.

My son goes to the First Step Day Care and Nursery School in Fort Lee and I love it. Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

we moved to Windsor Park on Rt. 4. Ideally, we'd like to find a day care that's affordable, and within an area where we can easily drop off the baby and then get on public transportation to the city.

Ok...not sure of your taste but there is a Montessori daycare/preschool that's on Engle Street-near downtown Englewood and Saddle Acres on Grand Avenue. There are buses over there that take you into the city. I visited both centers and hated Saddle Acres (however they do have a good reputation-it just wasn't my cup of tea). The Montessori daycare was pretty good but I ultimately decided to go with the First Step because it was closer to me. I live off of route 4/jones road. They are located in the Executive Drive off of Route 4. PM with any other questions.
