I'll be visiting Atlantic City for two months from mid June to mid Aug 2011, Would it be realistically possible to find a safe hotels with-in walking distant to the Broad Walk offering cheap monthly rate in the neighborhoods of $500.00 to 800.00?.

thx.

No, it is not possible for that price range.

For $800 or slightly higher, you could probably do one of the hotels on Black Horse Pike (which offer frequent shuttle service to the AC boardwalk)

Good luck

Nothing anywhere down the shore is going to be that cheap in high season, unfortunately.

Your best bet might be Absecon, which is close to AC but not as touristy an area so might be more reasonable, and take the train into AC.

why not call the hotels and ask them? economy sucks, one of the hotels might love the chance at two months worth of guaranteed occupancy.

worth a shot. weekends are usually busy but during the week im sure the rooms are empty. they give away free weekdays like candy to card holders. i still think $800 for the month probably wont be doable as a room on a saturday night can be $400 or so for 1 night. but if you are a gambler, that may change things (wont save you money overall but will on the room expense).

my brother stayed at a hotel called la samana in brigantine and he was happy doing that.
