Commuting from Old Bridge, NJ to Metropark Train Station, Iselin, NJ (Newark: home, living in)

Hello all,

We just moved to Old Bridge and I work in downtown Manhattan. Wanted to see if there are people living in OB take the NJ Transit train from Metropark station in Iselin.

How is the commute with the drive and then taking the train and then the PATH from Newark to WTC - any experiences with people currently doing this will be greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't be too far. It's probably best to merge onto the Parkway from Rt 9 north, then get off at 131A I think for Metropark and it's somewhere in there. Coming home make sure you get off at exit 129, NOT 123, otherwise you'll have to pay a toll.
