Hi, does anyone travel from Fairfield to Paramus NJ during morning rush hour? probably 8ish AM? Google map tells me to go from 80 then Garden state parkway which will normally take about 30 minutes if no traffic.
How long will it take during the rush hour? is there any alternate route?
I'm not sure about the timing, but I can tell you that there's a huge bottleneck at the junction of I-80 and the Garden State Parkway/Saddle Brook. At off times, you can sail through the ramps. At peak times, you will inch along.
If driving from Fairfiled to Paramus via I-80, it would be good to plan on getting off I-80 at an exit that would put you onto local roads that will take you to your destination. You didn't mention a street or area of Paramus to which you will be commuting; sharing it might yield more details suggestions here. But zoom into Google Maps and find some county roads to your destination.
Probably add about 10-15 minutes to the google estimate. And God help you around those malls around the holidays!
