Hi,
I am planning to move to Bayonne(near 21st street in avenue E) with my wife. As I am new to this place would like to know whether it is a safe street, before renting the house. Would specifically love to know whether that area is safe for families to stay
anyone familiar to Bayonne pleaseeeeee respond.thanks in advance

I just moved out of Bayonne last month. I lived there for a year and I liked it. To me Bayonne was a safe place to live and the schools are decent. My oldest son went to Midtown Community School over on avenue A. I lived on west 21st street and drove on east 21st street all the time on my way to rt 440 and it is okay over there as well. I walked around Bayonne at all times of the day and night as well as in all seasons and I never felt like there was even a remote possibility something was going to happen to me. There is a new shopping center that is being built right over in that section of town as well.
