- My Favorite line is the Northeast Corridor between Secaucus JCT and New Brunswick , all the different cities and towns you pass. The Diversity of those cities and Skylines. You can see Newark , JC and Elizabeth's Skylines form this line. The different stations are also great , vary form town to town no 2 are the same. The Speed is fast and the fares are decent. Also you can the Industrial power of the state and the quiet Marshes.
NE Corrider, but honestly is the only one I have used on NJT(Well have used PATH and PATCO), growing up i used take the line from trenton into Manhattan all the time
I really like the NE Corridor line, because when I get on those trains, they bring me to my home station. I hate all the rest where I need to get off and wait for a return-trip to Newark, or take a taxi to the station I was originally supposed to reach (home). Those lines are terrible, IMO.
I like the Newark one, because it connects to Newark Liberty International Airport, and I love airplanes much more than trains. For long trips, airplanes blow trains out of the water in terms of price and time-saving. I am an airplane fanner.
Most people aren't going to have a "favorite" train line. The overwhelming majority of people know the line that they have to ride, mostly to commute to & from work or school, and are almost completely unfamiliar with the rest of the NJT system. It is, after all, primarily a commuter rail system.
Favorite"line "??- -well there this scraggy type guy just goin all thru the train asking-
"Whats the best nation in the world??"
-- "A DO-NATION"- -he smiled as he answered himself-
ok- I gave him a buck-
- and I know Im off topic(it was the path anyway)- -but a good "line ,all the same"
My favorite is the one that gets me from where I am to where I need to be- other that that parameter, the rest of it is irrelevant.
