Hi..does anyone have any information on the abandoned train car diner on Paterson Avenue in Little Falls (off of Main Street)? Such as, how long it has been abandoned, why no one ever did anything with it, if it's for sale, etc?

Thanks for any info you might have!

Do you want to renovate it into a Diner , there are about 50+ Abandoned Rail cars or 100 old NJT cars you can have if you contact NJT. I'm sure you can get a few older cars to convert into a diner.

It's been shuttered up forever. Shame, too, it's such a perfect candidate to be restored to a proper diner. Park West is all well and good but it's a bit too much, y'know?

I would contact the town clerk, see if they can find out the current owner and status of the property to look into it.

Hm.
Can't say I know much about the abandoned rail car, but if you're in the area of Main Street in Little Falls, don't forget to stop at The Sun Ray Restaurant for a bite. Great family place with the best in Italian food. Their take out is great too. Huge sandwiches that will take you days to eat, all at the most convenient prices. You won't regret it.
