Love the Laural Hill photos. Many nights checking the roads back there. The one under the bridge goes way back into JC. There's also a road to the top of the hill that overlooks the Turnpike. But it's almost inaccessible except with a raised Jeep.

Didn't know it's now an accessible park. Back in the late 70's I walked across the train bridge and climbed the mountain with some friends. Going to have to check it out next time I'm back in the Eastern US.

There actually cleaning up the park and in 5 years the Path will extend up to Secaucus route 3 area and down to Jersey City Hackensack Riverfront its part of a network of Paths the state is building. Theres debate on what to do with the rock in terms of the top , some want to build a path and overlook up there others just want to preserved it. The park is located next to Secaucus JCT and Exit 15X on the Turnpike. It takes 10 mins to walk form the Train station to the park.

Wath a shock... Years back it caused a derailment and send the train off the track into the swamp. Time to replace it.

Its a shame those Xchange luxury apartments in Secaucus are built where they are...there's not much in the immediate vicinity.

There putting in stores , the owner told me phase 2 will include at least 12 more stores.....idk it seemed very nice. Theres a large state park , they have a boat ramp , your next to the Turnpike and Railways. For a single person its a sweet deal.
