This is an old thread about changing retail and restaurant occupancies in Florham Park. Three years later that Bennigan's property is still a disgrace and an eyesore. Does anyone know if the owner is paying taxes? What a shameful dump. Same sign.
Looks like the Thirsty Turtle is doing well, as are all of the other places in the old Loehman's shopping center property, now completely transformed. Even the strip center across the street is now done and looks great. Had a great dinner in Kyoto on Sunday.
I looked into it years ago...I believe the property was bought by a West Orange doctor during the bankruptcy sale as an investment. I would assume taxes are still being paid -- otherwise it would have been seized and auctioned by the town. UFB that another bar/restaurant or sports bar hasn't moved in -- talk a about a prime location with no competition. Thirsty Turtle is for uptight douches.
