Hi again,

My wife and I are expecting our baby boy soon and having the hardest time deciding on a name. The choices are as follows:

Grayson Daniel
Harrison Daniel
Hudson Daniel

Please advise and if you know of boys with those first names, please provide examples as to their temperment, ex. nice, quiet, loud, crazy

None of the above. Whatever happened to normal first names, like Tom, Jeff and Bob etc??? Why not use Daniel as the first name?

Congrats on your upcoming addition.

I would go with Grayson.

I agree with normal names, but I don't like the Jr reference associated with having my first name. Thank you though...

"Mommy, how did you pick my name....?"

"Well .......this guy RadBergenGuy45 said that he liked TeacherAndCopsOverpaid.... not sure what he meant but he was determined, and I was determined to have internet users decide your name"

Let me get this straight. You somehow think which name you choose will determine if the kid is loud/quiet/crazy?

Actually, after speaking with some teachers and parents, and the names they come accross, you would be surprise how people perceive certain names and how those children act.

Let me add Devin to the mix...

How about Grover? After all, it's the name of the only U.S. President born in New Jersey.

Edison works too. The genius of the second millennium spent most of his life living and working in NJ.

Grover Daniel
Edison Daniel

LOL - I sometimes feel in the minority because I like "common" names. Not common as in top 10 - but put it this way, if I can't find a personalized doohicky with that name, I would not name my kid that. Nor am I into creative spellings of common names.

OP, out of the names you listed, I pick Devin.

Grayson sounds like a large dog. I can hear the kids chanting "Devin devil" at school. I would have to go with Harrison, I guess.
