is west bergen jersey city dangerous? about to move that area, would love any info re: preschools, pre-k, parks in the area...

I was searching for a home in west Bergen, but the deal fell through, I like west Bergen, its mostly a Filipino area with lots of Filipino cafes and bakeries, its ok the homes are priced at 140k, is it dangerous? everywhere can be dangerous, its not the suburbs but its pretty safe.
