I will tip my hat to a man like this.
I'm with you Johnny. Thanks Mark for those funds.
Does this funding remove Newark from the list of Abbott districts, and does this mean that my own town can stop sending them money every year that we'd rather keep for our own schools?

Anyone see "The social network"? Spoilers upcoming:
He created facebook while he was a poor college student and his best friend was a partner from day one (30% ownership), and initially put up $1200 to buy servers, and then a couple months later when facebook started to take off, invested another $19,000.
According to the movie, Zuckerberg screwed him out of most of his ownership stake.
Nice gesture, but in my humble opinion there are better places to put $100 million. I would have picked out 10 charities and given them $10 million each. More people would have been helped that way.

While you may be right about the effectiveness of the money, my opinion is that when someone is donating their money, no one has any right to tell them how or to whom it should be donated.
