Mount Olive cop: Politicians caused pension woes - Recorder Community Newspapers: Columns

I don't know if this was already brought up. But, here is an article on the same issue.......different paper.

I didn't see the issue being discussed in this thread in that link, perhaps I missed it. Could you cut and paste what you think is relevent to the claim that Christie said no one should make more than him?

I'd go further and include Union Admin/Directors involved in collecting dues from Public positions..

NJ Teachers' Union Head took in $550,000 for the year

Head Of NJ Teachers' Union Makes $550,000 A Year--2X As Much As The Governor And 10X The Average American

Holy moles.

Again I hate to burst all of your bubbles. If Christie did say this outright or if he is inferring it by his talk he is walking a very very slippery slope. The simple fact that he hired one of his boys at more then his 175k really makes you wonder.
Do any of you believe that the head of the school construction co. should make more money then Christie? Come on lets get real.

I have no idea what this position should pay. Please educate us, and show your work. Please don't pick a number out of the air. please compare this position to private industry and comparable positions in boarder states.

Christie stated this back when all the budget stuff was going on. He said that these School supers make more than him and it's got to stop because no one in a municipal or state level should make more than the him.

Of course I don't have any links but it's been said and referred to many times. The Christie supporters attack the haters over credibility but not one Christie supporter has any information saying that he didn't say it or hint to it. Sheep are going to be sheep.

BTW, I'm not a Christie hater or supporter.

Neither am I, I'm just a guy who thinks that Superintendents making $200K a year is ridiculous.

Some of those Supers oversee 10-20 schools, some more. I think anything above 225k is high.

This is just absurd no matter what the subject is. Exactly what "information" do you expect to see about someone NOT saying something?
