Have to head there tomorrow for a work order and will have to stay after closing hours (4pm) for about 1 hour to 2 hours. I plan on leaving by 6pm will I have to worry about anything?

Very safe. In fact, the police station is right across the street. FWIW, I live in WO and would not consider any part of the town unsafe.

East Orange and West Orange are two different worlds in terms of safety. But even many parts of East Orange are not too bad.

yeah. E.O during the day doesn't strike me as unsafe. Some parts of it later at night i'm not 100% comfortable, but that's just based on perception. seems to be a few homeless people wandering around, but nothing terrible.

W.O. - still haven't spotted an area that i think is not safe...
