And this will often be a guy with no license or insurance. If something goes wrong, you may find him or you may not. And he's likely using the boss's tools & materials to do the cut rate job after the boss paid him to scope the job for him. Working for the boss, the boss is responsible for everything he does.

BTW, much cheaper in general if you think of all the stuff you'd like to do and have it done in 1 job. I can give someone a much cheaper rate if I can make a day of it than to go for 2 hours today, 2 hours next month, etc.
