I am looking for a fantastic home inspector - one that will walk in and find a problem (may it be minor). This would be for a home in Middlesex County, but obviously the inspector could be one willing to travel. Any leads would be much appreciated!

Joe Corsetto at Shelterworks--shelterworks has a website, the usual www and .com will apply. Our inspection report was unlike any other that our attorney and realtor had ever seen in terms of thoroughness and detail. He was worth every penny and has been used numerous times by families and friends. Absolutely outstanding in every way.

Ray was one of my professors in the Civil Engineering program at Middlesex County College. I haven't seen him since he retired probably 15 years ago. Great guy! If you talk to him, tell him I said hello.

Bob

We used AllSpec (Alan Walker)....he serves Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. If you google AllSpec Alan Walker, his site will pop up.

I will say this: My fiancee's family recommended him to us because he did an outstanding job inspecting their house. He inspected this house as well, but it is very hard for me to 100% judge him as this is a newer built house (when we bought it, it was only three years old) that the previous owners kept in outstanding shape. But he did a thorough walk-around, made some recommendations, etc. But only found one "major" thing that the previous owners needed to fix up. He also reduced his price on the spot when he was finished....saying that it was unfair to charge full-price to us when inspecting a house in as good of shape as this one was.
