How much it cost in NY/NJ to live a start-up family

Metuchen, Edison, Iselin, Colonia, Avenel all are nice areas and have a high Asian/Indian community. Actually, most of NJ now has a high Asian/Indian community so you should be ok anywhere. Stay out of Newark, Jersey City and such.

You may not need 200K but would say at least 150K gross. I just posted a break down on cost to maintain a house on long island that might help. just serch My math on how much you need to live on LI. Close? Right on? or way off?
