Please do not tell me places that do not observe the Christian blue laws... I do NOT like stores being open on Sundays, so don't even mention Non-Bergen County towns please.

Good luck preacheing that in Teaneck - Which is another good suggestion.
Ooh, totally forgot about Teaneck and Maywood. Traffic is CRAAAAZY in Teaneck's downtown area, but Maywood's downtown is another underrated, fairly quiet area (by Bergen County standards anyway) with some great stores. I guess Hackensack's Main Street area could be classified as a downtown area too, but again traffic is crazy and it's not too conducive to pedestrian traffic.
Other than in Ridgewood, what other towns in B. County have great Downtowns, similar to the one in Ridgewood with nice walking, restaurants & shops etc.?

I have friends owning more than 10 stores in Teaneck, and they all have "Merry Christmas" signs all over and outside + greet customers Merry Christmas, even if they are Orthodox Jews and Muslims.
Same with me, I work in retail with most buyers are Jews, I always greet them "Have a nice Christmas".

I highly doubt that , maybe Happy Holidays but not Merry Christmas..

Holy crap. Overreacting much?
You asked for member recommendations, and people took the time to give their their opinions on what they feel are nice downtown areas. You didn't mention anything about not wanting to have those evil stores open.
Yeah right, I've seen in many stores and places that says "Merry Christmas"
Target in Bergen Mall is one of them
It should say both Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.....
