Hello all.. Looking for some with commute experience in the area.

Currently in Ocean County, considering working in Wharton\Dover area. Mid 20s, would like to be near friends in JC\Hoboken\NYC.

Does anyone have any information on the commute from Hoboken to Dover? Understand it would be something like 78\280\80, just dont know how those roads look going West in the morning. Im hoping that the majority of the gridlock would be going east towards NYC. Hoping to have 45 minute commute if possible, tell me if Im crazy

Good advice -- as long as your work is close enough to where the train/bus would leave you.

Otherwise, you will be mostly opposite the worst of the traffic, but there will still be some, especially where those highways meet. Probably closer to 60 minutes, depending on exact start/end.

I do a similar commute. If you can leave before 7am or after 9am you can make it in 45 minutes most days. If you will be leaving in that window, it will be more like 60 minutes.
