Does anyone know of a good places to live with decent public school systems, newer houses or townhouses, and good public transportation to nyc (No more than an hour) that would also not be a reasonable commute to fairfield, NJ (No more than an hour, including traffic). My fiancee works in nyc while I work in Fairfield, NJ. Aiming for a home under $500k, is this even possible? Thanks for your help!
I would think you could find a castle for a half million dollars. I beleive there are some decent real estate purchases starting about $300K and up. That is about ten times what they used to cost last time I looked.
