Hi all,

I'm moving to Princeton, NJ from the UK. Some of the appartments I'm looking at are in Plainsboro. Without having a car or taking the bus, is it possible to cycle or walk from Plainsboro to Princeton. i.e. Can you cross the Brunswick Pike (and indeed other big roads like that) on foot?

Thanks...sorry for the stupid question!

Z

Walk? I would say no. Bike? I guess you could. Keep in mind it gets really hot in the summer and really cold and snowy in the winter.

That would be one heck of a walk! But, there are some intersections of Princeton Pike (Route 1) that are overhead (bridge) crossings & would be much safer than trying to cross at a light.
Another option besides taking a bus, is walking/biking to the West Windsor train station & taking the Dinky (one car train) into Princeton, this you bring you right next to the university.
