Hey fellas,

I quit my job in November because:

(1) My skillset didn't match up
(2) They put me through a 2-week training course 1 month after starting. For that first month, I had little knowledge of what my responsibilities and working environment would be and I was mostly sitting in my cube learning the intranet and wandering around talking to my coworkers and learning the lay of the land.
(3) The skills I had honed in college and my previous work experience were not being used and were slipping away.

I applied for Unemployment Benefits on Jan 16th ( 4 days ago ). Today I received a letter in the mail entitled "Notice to Claimant of Benefit Determination".
It's not a "Claim for Benefits Form" ( the one that has a check attached at the bottom ). It tells me how much I will be receiving each week and over what time frame. However, there is nothing on there that says for sure...

I am not sure, though, if this means I am certainly going to be receiving benefits. Does anybody here have any idea what this form actually means?

Does it mean that my previous employer still has the ability to appeal and I may still need to go to a hearing if they decline?

Or does this mean that I will 100% certainly be receiving benefits.

Thanks for your help,
