Really? The last time I checked you needed to move when you purchase a home. You also probably need to purchase additional furniture, throw some paint on the walls and complete other minor renovations to get a newly purchased home in the condition you would like..so I completely disagree with you. Those types of stores absolutely go hand in hand with a new home purchase.

I really don't see what point you're trying to make? If you're trying to convince me that buying furniture and moving is part of being a homeowner.. Well, thanks... I will never get the 3 minutes I've spent trying to mull over your logic back.

What do those examples have to do with the PROCESS of buying a home?

HINT: nothing

Your last post said that realtors capitalized off the housing bubble...I was simply pointing out that so did a lot of other people...you might want to go back and re-read your original post that I was responding to.

A relative took a job as a toll collector on the GSP. He lived in south jersey and they put him in a booth in north jersey. The union has favorites and it also involves racism. They have good benefits and use overtime to jack up their pensions. It's a racket. With all the EZ pass and high speed lanes there should be very minimal toll booths.

Your arguments certainly don't need any cherry picking to look bad. They do just fine on their own.

My point was made. And, obviously, it ruffled a few feathers because a handful (including yourself) have been insistent on headbeating the joys of handing your money over to a realtor.

So let's finally end the madness.

You don't need a realtor to buy or sell a house - FACT

Everything else regarding this issue is subjective.

Toll Collectors Job - 10 bucks an hour. Do you have an opinion on this subject?

There is nothing wrong with this...you might want to think about changing your name from hot_handz to Full of Hot Air.
