I have two choices in my section of town: Retro Fitness and Golds Gym.
Both are relatively newly-equipped. Which hours are the best to visit (early morning or evening) and does either have a fly-wheel rower?
I am asking because I haven't a lot of time to go visit . I have knee problems so the rower in the best for me.
Thanks.
you should visit. also, i have joint issues as well and i like the precor efx machines with no impact.
of course, if you arent sweating like a pig while doing cardio, you arent working out. sometimes i count the people on the cardio machines in the gym to see which are working out and which arent. its probably about 75% that arent. ill be going to the gym shortly, ill count and report my number.
I joined Retro because it is within a very close distance -- has two rowers, and plenty of ellipticals -- easy on the knees. And yes, Captain NJ -- I work up a sweat !
Retro, probably cheaper then Golds, I would imagine that the younger people would pick Golds because of the name. Hey I train at Gold's Gym blah blah blah.
