I recently moved to Hillsborough and I would like to know if anyone knows of a great veterinarian in this town or close to Hillsborough.

Animerge is a great facility, but it is primarily an emergency 24-hour veterinary facility.
Taking your pet to Animerge for routine care would be like taking your children to the ER at a hospital for a check-up.

Animerge will see your pet for non-emergency specialized care, but only by referral from the pet's regular veterinarian.
Since the OP apparently wants a "regular" veterinarian, Animerge is not appropriate.

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital has a location on Route 206 in Hillsborough. I was just there at midnight Friday night / Saturday morning. They're open 24 hours for Emergency visits. Highly recommend them!!!

Default more options

"Since the OP apparently wants a "regular" veterinarian, Animerge is not appropriate."

Your insight into the OP's mind is phenomenal. Too bad you couldn't answer the question.

Obviously the OP, who is new to the area, did not want be aware of all the vets in the area, if I have that right? Who'd want to know where to go in an emergency in a new area.

Countryside vet on rt 523 in Flemington.

Costlow on old york rd in Branchburg is another vet within spitting distance of Hisslborough.

Knowing where to go includes knowing where NOT to go, and I did not want to waste the OP's time with an assumption that Animerge is suitable for routine veterinary visits.

As to why I did not tell the OP where to go, that is because I live in Somerset, and am not familiar enough with vet's offices in Hillsborough to be able to make a valid recommendation. However, since my regular vet did refer me to Animerge for emergency care, I am quite familiar with that facility.

It was not incorrect of you to mention Animerge, but because you did not mention that it is essentially an emergency care facility, I wanted to clarify that matter for the OP.

Now, regarding your attitude when being corrected...

Hopewell Veterinary Group in Hopewell. Several great doctors and they are available 24-7 365 days a year. I have been using them for over 40 yrs. You will not find them to be expensive compared to other vets. Hopewell is only 10 min. fron rt.206
