I really do not know to tell you the truth. The shore has turned into a place for underage kids to get drunk so much that I rarely see families there, at least the ratio is a lot lower to the groups of teenagers.

At Surf Club in Ortley, on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons, you see a mix of all age who come in off the beach. Saturday is probably the day your are better off, usually bands and a surpluss of older people or people with kids. Sunday afternoons there is still a mix, but also an influx of "guido type people" in their late 20s.

sorry that I don't remember names but there is a place in Long Branch just east of the Joline av/rt 36 intersection, it's an italian restaurant in a yellow house like building, the B&T in spring lake, McCloones in Sea bright, maybe doolans in spring lake heights, and maybe the columns in Avon, that should get you started

thanks, now i have another question. I have been gone from NJ for 23 years and now back. When i was here the Avon-Belmar-Spring Lake-Sea Girt Area was all Irish Wasp type people. Now area is flooded with NY "Guido" types. When did all these New Yorkers get attracted to the Jersey Shore. Hate to say it but they are ruining the area.
All those gold chains, blowback haircute, macho crap belongs back in Brooklyn.

Sorry guys but thats the way it feels to me.
