Interesting , i guess those New locos won't go to waste after all... But at the same time i wish NJT would stop it with these one seat ride ideas....its starting to hurt the rest of the state....everybody wants one , but only a few lines can support them. So towns are trying to kill projects that don't offer the one seat ride....that has a negative affect on the region...

sorry to burst ur bubble but you didn't read the full article the new dual-mode locomotives are cheaper to operate meaning less transfers for coast users and greater efficiency as the trains can save on diesel. At first I didn't get it now I understand what NJT really wants to do!!!!

I don't think there cheaper to operate , there a waste...... NJT should have just more Arrows and Electrified more...

that is what I was trying to say!!! the dual modes can run while NJT electrifies more track then the dual-modes can be traded for electric trains they can't use now but later
