I have been there quite a few times as I had family very close by. Haven't been there in a few years though.

The problem with that place is you can't really eat more than one thing. A bowl of matzo ball soup can feed an army alone. Throw in a knish and you may as well forget about the sandwich. And don't forget the pickle bar.

Holy crap do I want to go there now. I may have to make a road trip this weekend.

That is the best part.

The first time I went there and got a sandwich I couldn't figure out why they brought a half of loaf of bread out on the side.

2 sandwiches can feed a family for a week.

I love this place- and what is more amazing than the portions is that the food is actually DELICIOUS. We go knowing that we will bring home mucho leftovers. A small sandwich is more than enough for 2 people. (sometimes its enough for 3... with a side dish). What a great place. We have been going for several years. Obviously you can't go too often but we save it especially for when we have guests from out of town. It never ceases to please and AMAZE!!!!!
Great photos by the way!!!! (need photos of the pickle bar with that great cabbage salad).
yum

Used to go there with a coworker when we were doing site visits. Haven't been there in almost 4 years, but the pictures make me want to go back.
