We are planning to move from North New Jersey to Bridgewater. I have 4 year old son who will be going to elementary school starting from next year. We really liked one house however, this falls under Van Holten elementary school. When I checked the rating for this school in great school web site, this school is given 6 out of 10 while all other elementary school in Bridgewater is rated 8 out of 10. I would appreciate if anybody can share their experience with this school.
All the schools in Bridgewater are good. Those ratings themselves are overrated
Some of the areas of Bridgewater have kids who are less fortunate than some other areas so that's why you get slightly lower ratings. If you are one of the parents who think education is important and you probably are then your child will do well no matter what elementary school they are in.
There are less desirable sections in Bridgewater but the Van Holten area is not one of them.
