I live in Woodbridge but go to Nomehegan Park in Cranford quite often because its so nice. The last time it rained real hard to appeared that a lot of the houses had flood damage. Is that the case or is this only near the canal?

https://hazards.fema.gov

You can put in an address. I didn't have any so i just put in cranford, NJ. Once the map loads. On the left hand side you can soom down to communities ie Cranford. Then you can zoom right to the street level.

I looks likes the boundries are the parks. So from Kenilworth following Springfield to Orange Avenue. Then just follow the river all the way down.

The site takes a while to load - As I read, they use this to determine if you need flood insurance. It's funny, your house get's flooded and the insurance may/may not cover it - rip off.

I'm looking for condos over my Lincoln Park East - Looks like it's close the flood zone but not in it.. yet...

of course...you know how it goes....its easy to take money for insurance...but try and be covered when its time for them to take care of what you paid them for. Its all over this world.....Yes there are flood zones in cranford....and there are areas that are fine.

Some of the flooding is local, meaning that it is street specific or part of that street. Look at how the road slopes, and talk to some of the locals in the area just to be safe. The flood zones are mainly on the North side of Cranford. Are you interested only in Cranford?

That is why the insured person should hire his own Public Adjuster (some people call them ambulance chasers) I am not a Public adjuster but we do inventory work (mostly fires)for about 10 different adjusters all over Nj and Ny

They work for hard for you because
the more they get you for your claim the more they make

They do all the work as far as meeting with the insurance adjuster & putting an inventory together for damaged property, cost of fixing building damage ,they will work with you to find temp housing
ect ect ect
