Hello,

I am currently moving from Northern NJ to Lawerenceville NJ and was wondering how much time I should leave myself to get to the train station and park in the garage for the 6:32am train out of Hamilton. Mapquest says the drive should take 7 minutes but with traffic lights I am guessing more like 10 minutes. What do people suggest?

Also how bad is it trying to get out of garage at night. I would be arriving in Hamilton at 6pm.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

Mapquest tells me that my commute to the station is 7 miles/13 minutes. It takes me about 20 minutes.

Hamilton is a large, densely populated township and the station services about 4K commuters daily. There are just under 3200 parking spaces.

Leaving the station, Sloan Rd is not too bad, but Quakerbridge Rd or Rte. 1 (depending on where you live in Lawrenceville) will be busy during the rush hours.

I suggest a trial run to see what it looks like from your place.

No need use bus #606 to princeton train station instead. Your rail pass lets you use that bus at no extra charge
