hi!
I want to know if parking space is less "crazy" for folks who has not permit, in the context of the job market. when daily parking spots are filled up in the morning?

In addition, I heard people parked cars at closed A&P Supermarket then walked to train station. Is it correct?

Just to want to understand better about commuting options if we move the areas. thanks a lot!

the waiting list is years long 7+ years for a resident permit, even longer for non resident. You could try to get a daily spot, but they fill up by 6/630 the latest.

If you park at the old Acme grocery store, there is a good chance your car will be towed. The new owners of that site will be starting construction soon.

You might check out a web site called parkatmyhouse.com, type in the zip 08550 and 2 places on Wallace Rd (right across the street from the station) come up. They have 6 spaces in their driveways that they rent to commuters.

This is a rendering of the plan Cyzner

Some of the existing stores will remain, the dry cleaners, Aljons etc. Starbucks will open at the end of the plaza, Cyzner is trying to attract a new grocery but haven't heard much about that.

are these additional parking space for permit or daily parking?
do you think the additional 500 parking space (sounds like a lot to me) will resolve the parking problem?
or parking will be filled up by 7am instead of 6:30am?

thanks for the info

Its at Capacity you can try Hamilton or Jersey Avenue. NJT and the towns did the mistake of building lots instead of garages thus you have shortages and the land around the station is wasted by this.... The Newer stations have garages....
