I just stumbled upon this unique terminology used to describe some of the suburbs around Detroit which are allegedly absorbing alot of the black-flight from Detroit proper. They are described as recently white suburbs which are experiencing large increases in inner city black/hispanic newcomers. I'm not talking about some of the inner suburbs that have already completely emptied of their white populations (i.e. Irvington, Orange, Dover,Roselle etc..). Go ahead and give a list of what you would consider modern day "secondhand suburbs" of NJ. Here's a few I thought of;

West Orange
North Brunswick
South Plainfield
North Plainfield
Piscataway
Maple Shade
Roselle Park
Linden
Ewing
Union

Are you going to write a 4 paragraph post trying to convince white people to move to these towns like you did with East Orange? Being obsessed with the chromatic qualities of the residents of different towns must be one helluva hobby.

Maple Shade? I don't see that, but I don't go there all of the time.

I don't really keep tabs on where people of various shades or colors live so I don't know which areas to avoid. My bad.

I would hardly call Dover an inner suburb, regardless of its demographics.

What is the point of a list like this? All towns change.

What about when all of the Dutch folks in some towns in Bergen County got ticked when the white ethnic Catholics moved out of the city into their towns and "took over"?

I guess you could really go back to the Native Americans with a discussion like this.
