My husband and I are considering buying a home in southern Ocean County or in Atlantic County. We have looked in the Sunday edition of the Asbury Park Press for open houses but find that the majority of the homes are in Middlesex County or in Ocean County from Toms River north. There is very little from Toms River south...such as in Manahawkin, Barnegat, Waretown, Forked River....and there is nothing in Atlantic County. Does anybody have any idea which paper to use for these areas?

Thanks for any help.

Here's a link to some NJ papers: New Jersey newspapers, NJ Newspapers, newspaper, press, NJ, New Jersey, garden state news, Journals, Times, Observer, Bergen Record, News, new jersey newspaper websites on Metrojersey.com"> <meta name="keywords"

Years ago the Asbury Park Press had two editions, one for the north and one for the south. I don't know, if that's still the way the paper is printed.

You could try The Press of Atlantic City. Sites like realtor.com are good too.

I second momonthemove's post! The Press of Atlantic City is your best bet to finding homes in Atlantic County for sale. The Current might also be of help if you looking specifically in the Egg Harbor/Pomona area.

I can't believe you are asking this question on the internet. Newspapers? Seriously?
www.realtor.com
Just plug in the desired zip code. Yes they include open houses.

bryson662001 - maybe she never heard of realtor.com

But, you're right, it's the best place to find a home w/o wasting time looking at homes that don't suit you.

Good Luck in your search!
