I will most likely will be moving to New Jersey later this year. I will working either Berkeley Heights or Clark. Where would you suggest a single 38 year old female can live that is safe, not overly family oriented, nor a high amount of 20 somethings as well. Tall order I know. I am moving from where the cost of living is considerable less and I am trying not to have sticker shock. I am looking to rent for a while until I am sure where I want to buy. I would say my budget is $1500 and would prefer a 2 bedroom but know a 1 bedroom is mostly what I will have to settle for.

I grew up in Berkeley Heights. Extremely nice, safe town. Clark is nice too. Probably less expensive rentals in Clark.
