A general rule of thumb for Jersey City Heights is the safest area is west of Kennedy Blvd. Mainly 2 family houses in the area. The western slope area is and was one of the safest areas of Jersey City from the time early 1900s. The area u listed is average for the heights. Not the worst not the best.

it's not "bad". Things do happen so do not come there expecting you can skip down the street, carrying a basket, while wearing a $1000 chain and singing "Friday" by Rebbecca black but It is not the worst crime area neither.
