Jose Tejas is my favorite but that's Tex-Mex. Authentic Mexican I would go to Juanitas in Red Bank, it's the only place I've been to that the food was exactly like the food when I was in Mexico. I'm sure there are many others in NJ though.

If you want authentic try Y Taqueria Munoz in the 6-12 plaza on Throckmorton in Freehold. Don't expect fine tableclothes or linnen napkins but do expect "REAL MEXICAN". P.S. It helps if you can speak Spanish or bring along someone that does.
I like Fiesta Hut in East Rutehrford. Mamma Mexico in Englewood. And there is a great little "hole in the wall" called 3 Chicas in Wyckoff that's very good.
Man I like Chipotle best. Hate to say it. But the closest one is in Clifton, and we are really trying to cut down on our driving. If there were on in Paramus, we'd be there 1x a week.
Blue Moon is not bad. They have a few restaurants.
3 Chickas in Wyckoff is good, on the less greasy oily side. I could do this the night before a big race, no problem.
there was a place in ridgewood that used to be called fresh cactus, then something else, now something else again. we liked fresh cactus a lot but the new place looks like the menu is limited.
