I just purchased a loft here. Im a 26yo professional working in Morristown, and I have rented in Hoboken for about 4 years. I am wondering what peoples thoughts were about the condo development, particularly with regards to all of the "urban revitalization" that the sales staff seems to be hanging their hats on. I am wondering how realistic this proposed redevelopment is from an investment standpoint. I am excited about the unit itself (the loft is spacious and has a unique layout), but still a little leery about the growth possibilities of the surrounding area. I grew up in an urban environment, so the neighborhood as it stands now does not concern me with respect to safety. Just questioning whether im gonna see a decent return on my investment. Thanks!
