we don't live there anymore, but she was commuting to kearny. train was really not a convenient option for her, as it would have at least doubled her commute time. i think we've been through this before.
I said express trains not local obviously local train was used I know how slow they are
right. so she would have had to walk to the path (10 minutes), take the path to harrison from hoboken (probably about 20 minutes), and then she's 1.25 miles from her place of work (another 15 minute walk). so you're looking at a 15-30 minute drive, or a 45 minute train commute? you do the math on that, especially when she was working 12 hours (9am - 9pm) and would have had to walk to the harrison station at 9pm and then wait for a train....

actually she would only need to take a bus I think 40 or 30 go there look it up
again, we looked into the options. she was not doubling her commute time on top of a 12 hour workday, when she'd be coming home after 9pm.
