I am looking for a place to move closer to the NY area. Some of the things that are important are cost, safety, and transportation to NY.
Ideally I would like a place with 2 bedrooms, and we are looking to spend around 2000 total. This would include any cost of transportation to NY. I am not sure if this is do able, but it seem that it is worth a shot. I have looked in Harrison, and even down to metropark, and just wanted to see if you all have better suggestions.
There's plenty of towns in Bergen County along some NJ Transit train and bus lines that can get you into the city quickly. My girlfriend and I live in Bogota, have a huge and nice 1 br for less than $1,100 and the bus gets her to work in the city in about a half hour. Take a look at NJ Transit's system maps and go from there.
