I just listed it on Ebay, so we'll see how that does. The diamond is actually GIA certified, so I took your very good recommendation and just added pictures of the certificate online.
Blue Nile is a great site to see the price range that your diamond is selling for on the retail market, of course you can't expect to get this price for it but it's good information to have.
I had the same Idea as you, but my numbers differ.
I see a ROund 1.03 Car, Color I Clarity SI2 (far cut, but that is probably what it is) for $3755
I would think you would get 40% of that if you were lucky
