Hello everybody,
I will come from Germany to NJ and would like to now the easiest, fastest or cheapest way to travel from Morristown to Newark or NYC. I have found out that there is a Morris&Essex line but it will take me about 1,5 to 2 hours then...
Does somebody know if there are other alternatives like buses or other train lines?

THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE!!

There are some trains on the Morristown line that only take an hr and 20 mins , there during off peak hrs though. Train time depends on where you want to go , Newark and NYC are 2 different destinations.....its less to go to Newark by 15mins. There are some buses but with Traffic factored i don't know if you save anytime.

The Morris and Essex Line only takes about 50 minutes to get to Newark if you can time yourself for a particular train. The trip to New York will take about 25 minutes more.

The trains run every 60 minutes on weekends, but they run more frequently during weekdays.

The schedule is available here: http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0040.pdf
