I was driving past the Kenvil Diner on Rt. 46 this afternoon and noticed it was roped off. Turns out the owner was murdered: Cops: Long-time Kenvil Diner owner murdered Saturday | Daily Record | dailyrecord.com

I had breakfast there several months ago. I'm assuming it was the wife who worked at the counter. She seemed like a nice lady. My thoughts go out to the family.

There seem to be quite a few strange murders that go on in that area. There was the guy killed at the bowling alley, the Funcoland murders and the woman that was killed in the supermarket parking lot.

Thought to the family of the victim.

Just goes to show that vicious crimes can happen anywhere.

The economy being in the toilet does not help either.

The murders I am talking about did not happen recently. Funcoland happened in 2002, the bowling alley murder in 1989 and the Shop Rite murder I'm not sure about, but not recently at all. That being said, I don't think the current economy had anything to do with those. The diner murder, who knows.

I doubt it would have anything to do with the economy. I guess we won't know until the police find out what the motive was (if they ever find out).
