Can anyone recommend a masonry contractor that does this kind of work? I'm not talking about someone that will only do the entire pool, but someone that will replace three or four pieces of coping that are crumbling away, and numerous tiles that have fallen off, if still available in tile inventories.
Calls to pool companies get us nowhere; they all want to quote an entire restoration. I'm looking for more of a skilled mason that is okay with a smaller job. Southern Morris County area.
I'd prefer someone property registered with the State as a Home Improvement Contractor, and insured as required by that registration regulation.
I read your post inquring about a contractor to repair loose coping as I have the same problem. I'm in Bergen Co., NJ. Did you find any reputable contractors?

Blu Sol Pools is great. Not the cheapest but reasonable and do great work.
My wife found a guy to did the work pretty much to our satisfaction, but it was not easy. We had a lot of bozos show up and then beg off once they realized what it involved. Most want to do a total re-hab.
I'm not 100% satisfied but it looks okay. The new coping looks strange next to the old coping, and they did a pretty good job resetting the tile.
