From what i'm told by NJT , it will go through , but end in Englewood. If you look at Englewood its the last dense town along the corridor. Tenafly is sprawly.... Englewood will get a giant Park / Ride @ Route 4 and a station at the Hospital and Town Centre. So losing Tenafly isn't losing alot , infact its saving alot of $$$ maybe up to 100 Million. The West Shore line is green lighted and has alot of supported , of course its an active line and already is used by freight. The line would run along side the Northern branch , but would be faster and connect more towns and Employment areas. The Bergen - Passaic LRT , suprisly has alot of support but has stalled....due to the county wanting more stations....and NJT not properly planning.
