Hi

Saw a couple of houses on sale in Yorkshire Subdivision in Lawrenceville, nj.

Can anyone share information about this subdivision as to

1) How is the subdivision?
2) Which schools ( elementary , middle and high schools ) falls under this community?
3) How is the area from safety point of view. is it safe for kids
4) also are there any school activities around like sports, swimming, dance.
5) Is there diversity in the area.

Please share,

Thanks

schools stink. Most people with money go to private schools.

The schools are fine. Poster who said they weren't is a troll.

As for my thoughts on the houses, me and my wife checked a few of these out. In our opinion, the houses are ugly, the lots are small, houses are right on top of each other, and since the development went up during the boom many sellers are WAY underwater and asking rediculous asking prices. Many of the houses that we checked out last summer are still for sale with their rediculous over 400K asking prices. I believe there is a ranch model that just went up recently asking price of 434K, when a similar ranch 3 houses down, closed for 340k last year.

The subdivision is at a busy location. The only access to it is Provinceline Rd. which is pretty congested during rush hours and daytime hours due to all of the big box stores and Mercer Mall. That Shoprite in Mercer Mall is always packed!

In Mercer Co. Lawrence schools are middle of the road, not as bad as Trenton or Ewing, not as good as Princeton or West Windsor.

I looked at a couple of houses in there and was shocked at how high the taxes were given how small the lots are.

Bottom Line-
I would look in West Windsor if schools and location are important to you.
