Depends on what part or Rockaway you're coming from. Are you in the Boro or the Township?

If you're in the Boro, I'd suggest taking Route 46 east to Route 53 south, all the way to last part of 202, then make a right, then left on Speedwell Avenue.

If you're in the Township, I'd suggest taking 80 East to exit 38, then taking Route 46 east, and follow the above directions.

I tend to avoid 80 east to 287 south, because it's 1 lane to the exit to 287 (both north and south), and it can back up for MILES. Route 53 can tend to back up going home between 5pm and 5:30pm in Denville, so be aware of that, but it's still not as bad as taking 287 north to 80 west to go home!

The way I suggest, you avoid most of Route 80 and Route 10. Both can get nightmarish at rush hour.
