Any suggestions? We would prefer a small cleaning service since we have bad experience with cleaning ladies (unreliable and hard to work with schedules) and big services are pricey and pay no attention to quality of work done.

I would look up community boards at local shoprite, pathmark etc. Services advertise there and u can be sure about 2 things : they want customers so at least need to care about them and 2ndly they are not big enough to not pay attention to their crew performance.
