Looking for a great family community... (Hoboken, Ridgewood: house, schools, taxes)

This is with conditions though (in the following order):

Great Schools,
Decent Taxes (under 11k for a home $500k to 700k, with under a 1/4 acre of land), at a max 70 min commute to NYC (midtown) by train, car, or bus, and decent downtown (dosen't have to be like Hoboken or NYC, but more than just a post-office), good Catholic community, and great family community atmospher.

Rutherford? The towns with truly great schools within that distance are going to often likely go over your tax or price budget (also not sure what kind of house you're looking at).

The home we would be looking for would be at a min, 3 br, 2th to a $700k budget.

Look towards Somerset County. Like Bedminster, Basking Ridge, Bridgewater and Branchburg
