I have moved to another state from NJ.
Should I send to NJ MVD these number plates?
Thank you.
The usual way to return those these days is at any NJMVC Inspection station. Don't know if there's any mechanism to send them back. You'd probably have to call them if there's an address for that. Otherwise maybe hold them until you drive back for a visit and turn them in.
The contact info is on this page, although it might take all day to get past the busy signals on the phone line. Probably easier to email them a question using the email they provide on this link: State of New Jersey - Motor Vehicle Commission
Hi all, we mailed our license plates to New Jersey last week by registered priority mail, just want to know how long do they take to send you the receipt.
I know im not supposed to. I know I can get in trouble, but I have every plate that has ever been on any of my vehicles.
